Welcome, spring! It’s been six months since I’ve gone kayaking, and now that it’s warmer, I’m closely watching conditions, eagerly awaiting my first day of 2020 on the water. I received several kayak-inspired gifts for Christmas and I’m excited to put them into action.
Here’s a little of what I got for Christmas:
Assortment of dry bags
Small, medium and large, I’ve got a waterproof dry bag for every need – my cell phone, a few supplies for a short trip or storage for lots of necessities.

Paddling Wisconsin guidebooks
Oh, where will we begin?! Which river will be first? Any recommendations?

Paddling tank top
A cheerful color and a little snark – can’t wait to wear this on a hot, sunny day.

Ornaments
Who needs a Christmas tree? I love to look at these ornaments all year long.

Love the shirt! Let’s make plans for when it gets warmer

Shari, I can’t wait to get out and kayak too. I want to get out on the Fox River again and even try French’s creek. Have to get out early (late spring) when the water is still up. This recent spurt of cold weather is not making me happy! I look forward to seeing you out on the water.

I’ve got to get out soon — even if I have to wear a heavy sweatshirt and stocking cap! Can’t wait to join you on another adventure. Call or text me anytime you want to go!
